A house shaped by history

Benham Park’s defining chapter began in the 18th century, when Lord William Craven commissioned architect Henry Holland and landscape designer Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown to create the Georgian estate that stands today.

Under Lady Elizabeth Craven, the house became known as a place for hospitality and good company, welcoming an influential circle of guests to the estate. That tradition continues today, with Benham Park once again providing a private setting for gatherings, celebrations and memorable occasions.
